Rincon Community Child Development Center

Hi everyone! I have been the Site Supervisor of  RCCDC since July 15, 2013. I started working part-time at RCCDC on August 17, 1981 as the center’s cook. Then in 1985, I started taking classes at Palomar College in Child Development and was hired once again at RCCDC as an Instructional Assistant. As I continued my education at Palomar College, I earned my Teacher’s Permit and worked in the classroom full-time from January 1988 through August 19, 2003. I left RCCDC to go to work for MAAC Project Head Start as a Site Supervisor/Master Teacher, where I worked with children and their parents. I came back to RCCDC on January 12, 2005 as a Master Teacher with new ideas for making positive changes in the classroom. I enjoy working with children and families and have completed my education at Palomar College earning my AA Degree in Child Development in the spring of 2014. I am married with six children and 15 grandchildren and enjoy spending a lot of time with my family.  We love to travel a lot and go to the movies. I am blessed everyday to have the support, encouragement, knowledge, kindness, and help by everyone.

Hi everyone, my name is Heidi Flores. I have two children, a 19 year old daughter and a 14 year old son. I have been married for 22 years. I moved to the La Jolla Indian Reservation five years ago. Prior to moving there, my family and I lived in East County for 17 years. My family and I love spending time together. We love to watch movies, play outdoors, and travel when we can. I enjoy cooking and I love to go dancing.  I have been a preschool teacher for about 17 years.  I have my Master Teacher permit, and I have completed 65 units in Child Development. I have taught at public and private preschools. I started working for SCTCA on January 5, 2015.  I’m thankful to have found a job in the field that I love and feel so passionate about.  I am looking forward to working with each of the families enrolled at our center.

Hi there. My name is Denise Wille. I have been a teacher here at Rincon Community Child Development Center since February 18, 2014. I have been in the field of Early Childhood Development for over 25 years. I am a proud mother of 3 adult children, with a beautiful granddaughter, grandson, and soon twins. I currently hold a Master Teacher Level Permit with the State of California. I have completed 50 units of Early Childhood Education at Palomar College and Saddleback College, Mission Viejo. I am CPR certified and a member of the safety committee for our employer, Southern California Chairmen’s Association (S.C.T.C.A). It has been 8 enjoyable years for me here at R.C.C.D.C. I love working with young children and the collaboration with their families. I am very lucky to have an educational career that I find so rewarding.

Hi there, everyone!

My name is Vanessa and I am the Instructional Aide here at RCCDC. I started working for SCTCA on April 8th, 2022. I recently graduated with my AA in Child and Adolescent Development and aspire to become a teacher here at the school. My favorite things about being here are how effortless it is to connect with our students and engaging with them in their early learning experience. I love getting to know each and every one of our students and personally establishing a relationship of mutual trust and respect. I believe this is of the utmost importance when working with children, especially the little ones.
I am a pet parent to a dog, lizard, tarantula, and 2 scorpions! When I am not at work, I love spending my free time drawing, reading, and dancing. I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi Parents,

My Name is Elizabeth Belardes and I am the cook here at Rincon Community Child Development Center.  I was hired in September 2016 and have been working here for two years now. I also am the custodian at RCCDC. I previously worked at Country Junction in Valley Center, and prior to that I worked at Miners Diner in Julian back in 2004. I have four kids, one girl and three boys. My oldest is 12 years old, my second oldest is 10 years old, and my youngest are six and five years old. I am also a foster parent and have been taking care of my niece.

I am fortunate to be working here at RCCDC. I love seeing the kids and knowing that I am providing healthy meals for each one. I really enjoy cooking, and I can say that I have been doing it since I was a young girl. I learn new ways every day and being healthy is a part of what we teach here at the school. This job allows me to express myself and my creativity, and to also learn more about what kids like to eat and what makes them so picky. I also go to annual trainings that teach me how to plan, prepare, and serve healthy meals that are up to code with our food program.
